Dr. Rebecca Fowler PT, DPT

Board-certified orthopaedic specialist

A Colorado native, Dr. Rebecca Fowler grew up skiing, backpacking and rock climbing in the Rockies. She earned her doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from the University of Puget Sound and then went on to participate in residency-level training in orthopaedics. She received her board-certified specialist designation in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS) in 2018. Rebecca is a Boettcher scholar alum and graduated summa cum laude with an undergraduate degree in anthropology from the University of Colorado-Boulder.

Rebecca has worked in both the non-profit healthcare sector and private practice outpatient orthopaedics. Prior to starting Fowler Physical Therapy, Rebecca was an adjunct professor and clinical instructor at the University of Puget Sound. She has published research in the areas of trigger point dry needling and lumbopelvic normative measures, and her research has been presented at national conferences.

Rebecca is a highly skilled manual therapist who loves the creativity and collaboration involved in putting together individualized, progressive functional therapeutic exercise programs for patients. She is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
