What to Expect

  • One on One Sessions

Each session lasts a full 60 minutes. Every session starts with a conversation. The first session is a comprehensive evaluation, including a movement screen, physical examination, treatment, and collaborative development of a plan. Follow-up sessions build upon the plan to progress you toward your goals utilizing hands-on manual therapy, functional dry needling, therapeutic exercise, and research-driven pain science education.

  • A Restorative Therapeutic Alliance

At Fowler Physical Therapy, the entire session is focused and adaptive, based upon your needs and pace of healing. Unlike other clinics where you may be treated by more than one therapist or even an assistant or aide, here you will be guided through a progressive rehabilitative process designed specifically for you, with your input. Dr. Rebecca Fowler truly cares about you as an individual, listens to your concerns and goals, then integrates the most up to date research with your preferences to create a progressive plan of care just for you.

  • No, you do not need a referral for physical therapy in the state of Colorado. As a physical therapist and board-certified orthopaedic specialist, Dr. Rebecca Fowler is your doctor for musculoskeletal and nerve-related pain and dysfunction. If, in the course of therapy, a consult with another physician or imaging is warranted, Rebecca will discuss this with you.

  • Regular appointment slots are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, weekday evenings and on Saturdays. Additional weekday mornings may be an option based upon availability. Contact Dr. Rebecca Fowler to schedule your appointment.

  • Fowler Physical therapy is an “out of network provider”, meaning medical insurance is not billed directly. This is chosen to align with the goal of providing you with the highest level of individualized care and time possible. Most medical insurance limits physical therapy visits and requires additional administrative time that takes away from time with you. By providing one-on-one 60 minute care, you are likely to recover more quickly and may require less out of pocket expense when compared to paying copays over a prolonged period.

You can pay via Venmo or Square using an HSA or FSA card or your regular credit card. Additionally, some insurances will allow you to request reimbursement for your expenses. You will need to contact your insurance to determine whether this is an option, and let Dr. Rebecca Fowler know if you would like her to fill out the required forms.

The cost for your 60-minute initial evaluation is $165, and subsequent follow-up visits cost $140. If this pricing prevents you from participating in physical therapy, please contact Rebecca to discuss payment options. Rebecca strongly believes that ability to pay should not affect access to physical therapy.

  • Rebecca has a unique ability to work from both the head and the heart. She is a compassionate listener and collaborative practitioner. Her diverse skill set has been honed through experience in social work, graduate-level teaching, research, and clinical practice.
